MCM is definitely a bit too pro-Marcus. They are putting the receivers on blast while claiming underthrown balls are "accurate" . The Stocker and Davis throws throws could have been INTs if there wasn't such a crazy amount of separation. Unless the WR doesn't have to break stride, the pass is not accurate.

 

Some really good throws, some really bad throws, and quite a few in the middle. Some are questionable. Number 1.. if a receiver has to dive for the ball (perfectly in the hands?), is that considered accurate? Number 2, I guess accurate enough, but nowhere near in stride and turned an easy td into a tackle. Number 6.. Taylor had seperation and was getting even more but had to slow down for the ball which allowed the defender to close the gap. Not a terrible pass, but it wasnt a good pass either.

There are underthrown and overthrown balls which they consider to be "accurate". The bar is clearly set low. QBs don't make the HOF by being close enough for the WR to make a play. They do so by being right on the money.

 

Honestly that article reminds me of how little I trust Taywon Taylor's hands!

I don't think the article should be referring to the throws as accurate vs inaccurate. It's more like was it a satisfactory throw from the QBs standpoint.

that one to taywan that you say was overthrown and he had to dive for.... if he had thrown it ANY less it would have been picked. i guess it's cool to leave out that little fact when you are complaining though.

 

So either an uncatchable ball or an interception. Ok.
