Would I take Wentz over Mariota based on production? Yes....do I think Wentz is often injured? Yes....just like Mary...So if I had to have an injured QB, yes I would want the one with better attributes and production when he does play. Naturally, in a perfect world, we would have a healthy Mariota that shows the flashes we have seen on a consistent basis. History says otherwise though....

He's often injured like Mariota? Did Mariota miss half a season the past two years? Wentz is OUT much more than Mariota so not comparable.

And you didn't answer my question. Would you sign Wentz to a 10 year $300mil contract right now?

No I wouldn’t. Exactly why I said keep Foles. Foles was better than him in that system. I wouldn’t sign Mary as it stands long term either until he shows more. As for injuries, yes, no doubt Wentz missed more time. However, people have chalked up his poor play to playing with nagging injuries etc and other players.....So if that’s true, he’s never been 100 right? Which is it, healthy and unproductive? Everyone else’s fault? Just playing devils advocate. Compare Wentz and Mariota actual games played and it’s no comparison statistically.

Wasn’t mariota’s injury in like week 2 last year and supposedly why he played like crap all year?
Very comparable then. Wentz got hurt to where he can’t play, mariota got hurt to being a liability for almost the entire season. In that sense, I’d rather have the wentz injury too.

It’s also worth noting, Wentz didn’t miss a half season. He missed 5 games last year, 3 games a year before, and played a full 16 his first year. Mary has yet to complete a 16 game season. Basically, they have both missed 8 games. Mary has missed 8 in 4 years Vs Wentz missing 8 in 3 years.

Well according to some Mary believers, that’s why he wasn’t playing well. Injuries....but then want to use “games missed”...Contradiction. Regardless, they are actually quite close games missed wise. Exact same minus a year. Production for Wentz is waaaaaaaaaay better though. That being said, both are liabilities. With Tannehill now, I’d take Wentz any day over Mariota as it stands. I’m not sure how you could say otherwise to be honest.

Naturally right? So that being said. His games missed aren’t an accurate assessment. He is actually more injured than say Carson Wentz.....
