    No 5th-year option for Jack. I assume it'll mean they'll either get a long-term deal done or will allow him to walk.

    Not surprised. His salary would have been over $12.5M is I understand how it works.

    5th-year options are guaranteed and Jack has had quite a few injuries.

    I think he'll get the chance to prove he's a long-term answer. If he can stay healthy and play like he did early on, he'll get a deal.
