So, how disappointed are the Marcus haterz that JRob didn't take a QB?
Not even a developmental one in the late rounds?

I gave it an A but its an A+ if Simmons comes back healthy and able to contribute this year. Even if its late it helps because we're trying to make playoffs. I think he turned a limited number of picks into all potential starters or role players. Something we used to never do with more picks.

For me this could end up arguably being one of our best non-qb drafts.

1 - DT - Simmons - has top 5/10 talent and could be a monster player early in his career. Could be the next Fletcher Cox or Suh...might only be a Michael Brockers type. Excellent value and upside pick!

2 - WR - AJBrown - I'm not as high on him as some others because he plays better from the slot and he'll need to improve to play as well on the outside. I still had him as a 2nd round wr, but he doesn't have the upside of a Metcalf or Campbell...but he does have a high floor. Could be Smith-Shuster...could be just a big slot who's good. Good value and at a position of need.

3 - OG - Davis - Solid OG prospect with good feet but less than avg athleticism. Also has a strange stance. Gonna need some work but will push other starter options at RG. Average value at a position of need.

4 - DB - Hooker - This guy is all over the place in terms of value. Some had him as a 2nd round pick to 4th or 5th. For me he was in the 2nd/3rd borderline. He played a few positions (S, nickel) and in a variety of roles...outside, inside, on the hash, robber, deep middle, etc. He is really excellent in reading route combos which is why he gets really good jumps on plays in front of him. He's also good at baiting the qb...taking 2 ste[s toward the boundary, then falling back into the passing lane. Can also blitz and come down on the run game. Doesn't have elite athleticism, but is a good athlete who's a better football player. Good hands. At best, he's another Byard type db who can get turnovers and move all over the place in zone/man to cover rb's and te's. At worst he's a back db who should be a special teams ace. Good value!

5 - OLB - Walker - I had him as a 3rd round player. No one seems to know why he dropped in the draft...whether it be some teams wanted certain players more or that Georgia 'schemed' a lot of favorable matchups for him. I like him. He's got some nice pass rushing skills already and has played against high level competition. Should be able to contribute on special teams at first until he earns a backup role on the EDGE! Could be an eventual starter to replace Wake in a couple of years or may only be a good special teams guy. He's a donhill thumper who comes with the 'right' attitude! Great value at a position of need!

6 - ILB - David Long - Jayon Brown type undersized ILB who flies around the field like a missile and delivers shots. Will need to add weight and strength but flies to the ball and brings the thunder! Will need to learn to wrap tackle a bit better instead of trying to knock everyone out...but he's fearless. Will be a special teams demon while learning to earn a backup role. Could become an eventual starter or just a special teams menace!!! Good value!!!

Not much to dislike. My biggest concern is Davis fitting into this offense though this MIGHT be a sign we may be more multiple in the run game as Henry did better with the power runs last year. Davis is more of a power player while Saffold can do both. We need Brown to earn the #2 WR position from day 1 and make an immediate impact. That with CD taking another step, Humphries, and a healthy Walker should make a huge difference!!! AJ Brown has the best chance to make the biggest boom this year for our rookie class. But we'll all be waiting to see when/if Simmons gets on the field late in the year.
