Try watching every game and every play and MAYBE you'll understand what happened and not need to read about it by people who are all over the place.

Really??? Who are the many? I haven't seen anyone say Mariota isn't responsible for ANY of the sacks.

But more to the point, SOME HATERS clearly want to blame Mariota for EVERYTHING and absolve everyone not named Mariota.

Don't you think everyone should be held accountable for their play?

If an OL whiffs and gets the QB killed, should I blame the QB or the guy who gave up the free rush?

If a wr can't get open or drops a perfectly thrown ball, should I blame the QB, or the person responsible?

When Henry was playing poorly before December, should we blame Henry and the OL for not getting him holes? Or should we blame the QB?

I've played and coached football. I call out players who aren't playing well...including Mariota. When ABC put up some video on one of these threads, I pointed out where Mariota threw a perfect pass to Taylor who dropped it (would have been a TD) but on another throw to CD, CD had to sky high and reach way back for it. It was a GREAT catch and a terrible throw. Don't you think we should hold all of the players accountable for what they do?

The difference is, I don't HATE Mariota or any other player or coach.

I want the team to WIN and you can only get better by understanding the problems...not by blaming the QB for everything.

 

Henry never played poorly. He just didn’t get the touches he needed. If you actually played and coached football, you would know this.

Mariota has not shown that he is a franchise QB. Do I want him to be one? Yes. But, there is absolutely zero evidence that he is.

You tend to type a lot of words. I think a lot of people on this board value your ability to type a lot of words. Unfortunately, your opinion means as much as the people you despise on this board. Give it a rest.
