Would be stoked if Oliver falls to 19. Hoping a few qbs, wrs, and olinemen all go in the top 15 and it will push some of these dl’s to us

After that pro day man, he’s gonna generate buzz...Only guarantees going ahead of him are a few QB’s, Williams, and Bosa....

How fast did Gronk run? TE is more about “feel”. It’s way more important for a TE to understand where to be than a 40 time.

Jonnu Smith might be the fastest TE in the league but he doesn’t understand settling in holes or veering away from safeties/LBs in the seams.

I’ll take a Dallas Clark type 100x over than a Jonnu Smith athlete.

Hock is a bad man. I take him over Fant or Smith any day. Fant may be more athletic and fast, but he’s not as good at blocking. Legit Hock matched him receiving wise AND is a monster in the blocking game. When I think Fant, I think of Jared Cook, Graham types...Remember, Walker is a great receiver and blocker as well, and if we draft a TE, we want a guy that can do both.

I think the teams most likely to take Oliver are Detroit, Buffalo, and Atlanta. If he makes it past those 3, I think there is a strong chance he lasts to 19.

The patterns that we can see from our visits so far (adding the ones scheduled since this thread started):

Edge guys from every round possibly to double up or in case their guy is not there in the 1st.

IDL pass rush 1st rounders, NT types are generally 4th round or later picks.

WR that we could get in the 2nd or 3rd.

RB we could get in the 3rd or 4th.

TE we could get in the 4th or 5th.

ILB, S, CB, OT, and IOL so far are all generally later picks (4th+) or UDFA.

Robinson's tendency so far has been to pick some players in the top 3 or 4 rounds he really likes and then move to get them. Last 3 or 4 rounds he treats like one long round with about equal value for depth and ST contributors.

Given all that, so far it looks like the most likely scenarios are:

Round 1 Edge or DT pass rusher
Round 2 WR or whatever we missed in round 1
Round 3 whatever we missed in 1 or RB
Round 4 RB, TE or IOL
Round 5 or later could be just about anything from IOL, CB, S, ILB, OT or any position we missed in rounds 1-4. We could also double up on edge.
UDFA guys will probably include most of what is mentioned above plus probably a QB and kicker.

Of course, all of this can change as we see what visits are scheduled in the next week.
