    The old skool Oiler Jerseys have been a hot topic as of late. Watt who had initially wore an Earl Campbell Jersey back in Dec. recently suggested that the Titans give up their rights to the unis because of the franchise moving so that they could wear them.

    When the NFL recently wished him a happy birthday via social media, Watts response:

    "Thank you NFL. I’ll check the mail for my present. (Gift idea hint: Get the Titans to give us the rights to the Houston Oilers throwback uniforms) "

    He followed that back up by recently saying :

    "I understand why, but man it's such a shame we can't rock the baby blue Houston Oiler throwback uniforms one time."

    Hopkins was the latest to add to the controversy by posting a pic on instagram a few days ago with the caption:

    "Who would like to see this ?


    Amy Strunk’s response when asked about ever giving up the rights:

    "Very interesting, except the Oilers don't have anything to do with the Texans, so ... that's a hard no,"

    As far as the Titans rockin the unis regularly going forward:

    "I think that would be something I would take to the fans,If they were on board and excited. So many people love those uniforms. Maybe we'll put a survey out there and sometime if they loved it and wanted it to happen, I'm sure we could make it happen."

    I have an Earl Campbell away jersey and I get more compliments on it than any jersey I have ever had
