Ol’ Choda is on the hot seat....bout time. Dude has had zero competition going into his 5th year. I hope he elevates his game and stays healthy honestly, but history says it isn’t happening. Regardless. We are in a good spot. Tannehill is capable and a way better backup than anything we have had recently. Get ready gang, because Mary better step it up. We have a good backup, solid surrounding cast, and Jrob/Vrabel have zero allegiance to him. If you think he is a shoe-in to be extended, you are sadly mistaken.

The number of injuries is a concern that he simply isn’t framed to withstand NFL hits. The injuries themselves should been healed fairly quickly so pretty strong evidence he is simply “brittle” the way Locker was. Cracked bones and torn ligaments surround nerves so not really a surprise.

    Here's my 2¢.

Mariota is slightly above average. I'm kind of impressed he toughed it out as much as he did. And I was 100 percent with him until this last season because he's always ****ing hurt. I need to see something this season or we need to start looking elsewhere.

With that said, our line let him down last year and lead to putting him in the position to get hurt. I think we've mostly addressed that this FA.

His stats don't tell the entire story. If our sorry ass damn receivers could have caught some of those dropped passes, we would have won some of those games. One more win would have sealed it for us. I'm not completely sold on our receiving core yet, but I do believe Humphries was a good signing.

I don't think adding muscle helps your ribs and vertabrae not break.

Unless the guy has osteoporosis or something, you can't call that "injury prone." When bones take X force, they break.

Now, learn to avoid hits, that is an argument.

For me, if he plays 16 games and wins 10+ to put us in playoffs, while having less than 12 total turnovers, would make the yards and td numbers irrelevant. And he should be extended.
