May be, but I like the way you can trade picks on first-pick.

Don't think there's a thread discussing this, so thought it was worth it, what position do you want us to draft this year? If available of course.

If available, I'm all in on going DL and getting a disruptive body in the middle to get a push up the middle since we've signed an edge guy. Someone who can take the pressure off Casey and also get a push to collapse the pocket and make it easy for guys like Landry and Wake. It's our only real whole on defense right now and we could still get what we need later in the draft.

A guard should be there in the 2nd. As well as a receiver. I think Pruitt and Firkser are gonna be solid depth and its unlikely a WR, drafted any round, will be a Day 1 starter and big piece to our offense. It could happen, but it hasn't happened a lot in the league.

    1 DL
    2 RG or WR
3 WR or TE or BPA

We would have gotten good value likely at RG and WR and after the 1st DL pick, we can focus purely on offense.

    Thoughts?

OLB and it's not much of a question

Look at the landscape in the NFL, mostly all 1st rounders coming off the edge

I wouldn't be mad. But I'd rather take Wilkinson if he's there. I think Wake is gonna surprise and we might have something in Finch/Correa. I wouldn't be mad at that pick though if it was a game changer like Landry. I guess I'm thinking pass rush up the middle and you're thinking from the edge. I just think Wilkins would give us a pass rush and fill a need.

Is there gonna be a better edge guy available than Wilkins is on the interior?

Landry is not a game changer

We have serious questions at OLB, not 1 full-time guy on the roster

Edge or DL. Best player available at one of those. That's where the strength of this draft is and there should still be a premium prospect available at one of those positions.

I bet Landry gets double digit sacks if he's healthy. And he's also better than what people give him credit for in the rest of his game. Landry and Wake may become one of the better pass rushes this year if Wake plays like he did last year
