Does anyone know of another team that relinquishes the silent count duty to their worst Guard?

    So basically...

Perfect protection + Wide open receiver= completion that any QB should be able to make

Not Perfect Protection/Less Open Receivers= Sack

Not even close to what I said or meant.

I'll make this so laughtably clear that even the MDS crew will be able to understand it. I'll even bash Mariota for you first to lighten the blow

Sometimes Mariota sucked. At times he was hesitant. Other times he rushed to run. Other times he was just terribly inaccurate. His footwork issues show pretty clearly on some of these too. Among other issues.

Now to acknowledge the other players on the team.

Sometimes the line sucked. The video I also just posted show this plain as day and i can find other examples as well. They were, at times, getting destroyed in 1 on 1 matchups.

Sometimes the WRs sucked. The video also shows that. You can actually see the receivers dropping the ball. You can visibly see them not getting separation at times.

Also, the team apparently agreed. OL and WR were immediate signings in the FA

I am sorry that Mariota nailed your girl, sister, cousins, other relatives, dog, cat, gerbil, goldfish, any hidden rodents, cockroaches, and any other living creature you run into but believe it or not, the line and WRs struggled at times as well last season.

Do you disageee with that? Itll be pretty easy to prove that wrong with this and other videos

I dont understand why you guys get so weird when legitimate facts are pointed out. More than one person on the team can suck

Very simple. He owns it this year.

If he gets the job done by getting an extended playoff run without needing RTanny to bail him out for more than 2 games, then welcome back franchise QB.

If not, then good luck middling NFL QB. see you later.

Do or die this year MM. I am rooting for you.

I understand the anti-Mariota thing...but this doesn't make much sense.

Let's play it out. So instead of a starting OC, NT, developmental EDGE, TE to groom, OG, CB...you want to park a 3rd round pick on the bench for a season where he will not get developed...he'll mostly just sit there after OTA's and training camp. Mariota and Tannyhill will get 99% of the snaps once the season starts.

So let's suppose Mariota does great and we re-sign him. Did we draft a qb in round 3 to just be a backup? Are we gonna keep tanny for another year or a few to back up Mariota or go with an un-developed 3rd round pick. At best you start developing him in year 2 and in this scenario...by the time he's developed, he leaves and goes to play for someone else. Not a good use of a 3rd round pick.

But I know, you're thinking that won't happen. Mariota won't be good or will get hurt and that'll be the end of him so we should have a 3rd round pick right? Not really. Would we trust the starting spot to a 3rd round qb who didn't get developed or are we gonna go all in in a loaded QB class? Most likely we do what we have to do and move up to get one of the qb's and then...guess who's getting every practice rep...the rookie who we'll expect to start from day 1. So what will our 3rd round qb be doing? Riding the bench again for the most part since he won't have any more experience than the first round rookie. Or maybe they keep Tanny as a bridge and any snaps the 1st round guy doesn't get...goes to the new rookie.

Is it possible there is a way a 3rd round rookie could get playing time and turn into Russell Wilson...yes. Likely...not at all.

We have better uses for a 3rd round pick...especially if you want to WIN now.

Why would the Titans franchise tag him if he doesn't play well?

And what moves would you think the Titans would make if they WERE considering taking a franchise qb next year if Marcus doesn't pan out?

This was good but had more than just 3rd down plays. But good to see some tape after listening to a lot of nonsense!

    Here's what you'll find...

Claim from the hate squad---------What the film reveals
He only makes one read------------He makes many reads many times

He can't move in the pocket--------He can and does.

Watch some film people! You might learn something...assuming you're paying attention and understand what you're looking at.

Film is a great learning tool because it's all there. You see the plays where the OL played perfectly. And you see when they had multiple breakdowns. You see WR's getting open and winning 1v1's...and plays where they are blanketed. You see a few great catches...and more drops than you'd expect. You see Mariota make some great throws...and miss some throws badly. But you see a lot of plays where he's checking 3-4 people on the play. Sometimes he breaks contain correctly, keeps his eyes downfield and throws a TD. Other times he tries to break contain and doesn't realize he can't get away from one of the defenders. Some teams were better at spying him than others. And sometimes Mariota should have thrown the ball but didn't...and other times he took one step and delivered a strike under pressure.

Take off the hate goggles for a sec. you don't have to put on I Luv Mariota blinders, but watch a little tape and you'll see everything...the good the bad and the truth!
