Honestly he's the perfect fit. Can make all the simple throws is a game manager which is all we need him to be and is mobile AF. Dude can scramble. And I don't think that Jax has killed his spirit like it did Gabbert, he can still be saved.

 

Yea, again I'll say.... a backup caliber QB has a better chance to see starts as a titan than all but about 3 other teams right now.

 

Would love to take a flyer on Markus Golden. Dude is only 28 and had 12.5 sacks (and 4 FF) in 2016 before being injured and then playing out of position in 2017 & 2018. Back in a 3-4 he could be a valuable rotational pass rusher with huge upside.

Have a feeling we'll look at what comes from the draft and if nothing too high there, we could potentially see Kelly start at RT and slide Conklin to RG as another option to boost the overall line play.

That would give us a line of:
Lewan
Saffold
Jones
Conklin
Kelly

In the draft they could go after a OG or OC and then have multiple players competing for starting spots. Suppose they blow people's minds and take Bradbury at 19...giving you...

Lewan
Saffold
Bradbury
Conklin/Jones/Kline
Kelly/Conklin

Now you have Kelly and Conklin fighting for RT and Conklin, Jones, and Kline fighting for RG or potentially Bradbury Jones fighting for OC.

Could also grab a Lindstrom type which would potentially give you a similar battle at RG (Conklin, Lindstrom, Kline) but leaving Jones at OC.
