Rumor Titans Free Agency Rumors

We must really like a bunch of pass rushers in the draft and feel confident we can get a couple of good ones.

 

I am sure that we budgeted for Z Smith, but the price just got out of hand and we filled a different need. We were never going to pay close to $16M . But the draft is loaded with pass rushers, which makes these contracts surprising

 

$16M for Z Smith who's never been a starter is pretty expensive. I do hope JR signs a vet pre-draft though. Houston would be a fine 2 year stop gap to bring in a quality vet, and I think he's the last big name out there. Although he's probably going to be too expensive too. I think OLB in the 1st is nearly a sure thing at this point.

 

Levitre ended up being pretty solid for the Falcons. I think that was more of a scheme fit than anything. Or maybe because he was blocking for Bishop Sankey and Dexter McCluster during part of his time here. Oh well.

 

I thought levitre played great in our scheme. I have to assume the scheme was to allow the QB to get crushed and run the ball like crap. Did that very well.

 

He sucked there too

 

Gimme Tyrod Taylor and Demetrius Harris to put the icing on the free agency cake.

If we were gonna sign taylor, you'd have heard about it by now. Don't see that coming.

 

The Falcons know how to do it. Upgraded two offensive line spots for the amount of money we spent on one.
