Damn JRob should be paying more attention to Madden before any more signings

 

He averaged 3.6 yards of separation per Target . That's unheard for a WR with his number of targets . And a Hell of a lot more separation than any #1 WR by a wide margin. People need to stop looking at skin pigmentation and combine numbers , and instead into actual NFL measurables

 

Can’t complain about getting another chain mover....now we can draft a speed guy in the mid rnds. No need to worry about any diva attitude....he will come in and work his butt off to get in sync with MM....Taylor should be busting his butt too or he will lose plenty of reps

 

Confused by the people complaining we got a slot WR instead of a guy on the outside. Do we have some other good slot receiver on the roster? Have we had an actual slot receiver in the last 10 years? Kendall Wright is the closest one I can think of. Slot guys move the chains and he should immediately be one of Mariota's favorite target.

 

Agreed. Taylor, and Sharpe are outside guys. Like this pickup. Humphries and the ghost of delanie Walker will cover the seams and middle.

 

No beef with another slot guy, certainly an upgrade anyway but it still leaves another outside guy as a “need”. I don’t think a high need by any means, more like want.

To be honest, that’s where the Decker signing looked ok. Not a great guy but decent enough, so maybe another lower tier guy just capable of shining if Davis, DW and now humphries take all the coverage.

 

We can still sign an outside guy but unlikely if they believe in Taylor. So see what some are saying.

Totally unexpected but I have faith in the staff. If he becomes another security blanket that’s great. Maybe he’ll cause fits if Ddub comes back healthy.

If we don’t sign another WR I bet we get one in the 3rd or 4th.
