Why do yall keep believing these dumb updates that certain teams are in or out? Lmao. They are all over the place. No gm is giving these dumbys updates hour by hour.

All the teams saying they’re “Out” is simply a bargaining tool all for show. They all want to get the best possible deal. Why give up a first or second when you can posture up and go “out” and maybe only lose a 2nd or 3rd. Who knows who’s actually in or out at this point. Steelers have absolutely no leverage at this point and it shows.

Now hes publicly saying he wants to be the highest paid WR in the league. Hes gonna end up getting cut and not get offers anywhere near what he thinks hes worth.

I'm thats what he told Buffalo in order to play for them. I would have done the same thing. Ain't nobody trying to rot away in Buffalo.

I personally think that either that, or Pittsburgh eats the cost and lets him ride the bench until he gets tired of it and retires.

Either way, I think he's overplayed his hand. He's not a free agent, he has no leverage.

I think if any team rewards him a new max contract after a trade they are sending a bad message to their current locker room. Essentially saying we’ll still pay you if you throw your toys out the pram. I’d only be open to him here on his current deal (and less than a first round pick compensation).

Or, you get treated special if you have over 11k yards receiving and 74 TDs.

The Steelers still control Brown's future. It's their choice if they trade him. All Brown can do is retire if he doesn't like it.

Yes the Steelers hold all the cards. I just can’t see how a GM parts with high picks and a max contract with Brown’s current antics. Seems like a stalemate for now but who knows with all the smoke and mirrors this time of year.

I really don't think Pittsburgh has any leverage. Every team knows AB doesn't want to play there and after AB went nuclear and unleashed all of the dirty laundry, the Steelers don't want him there anymore. AB has already stated he wants a new contract and has stated he doesn't have to play the game. They cannot punish his future career earnings like they could do Le'veon Bell. They didn't want to give Le'veon his money but they would be more than happy to wear his body down with 300+ touches through a season. WR doesn't take that much punishment through a season. All they can do with AB is put him on the field but that won't ruin his body and potential earnings. Sitting him and paying him for doing nothing doesn't help them either. AB has to go and the only option is to either release him or take a low draft pick and trade him away.
