Honest question, how soon after the promotion did they start showing their potential? Did it happen right away, after a few seasons, or after a few failures (change teams, demote then re promoted etc)?

 

Oh, it is not official at all, just he is the only one that has been "leaked" as a candidate. Just leads me to believe they have already decided (especially considering what they have said about continuity) and leaking it to test the waters for reactions.

He will be the guy. I only doubt because former GM Reese said he would go outside of the organization. If you weren't going to hire the guy, why throw it out there? If you think that high of the guy, you wouldn't want anyone sniffing around trying to take him.

 

Could be waiting for someone from the remaining 4 teams left in the comp...

 

I agree with you on that last point. To be clear, I doubt his "tingles" were completely gone at any point after the injury in week 1. Good and bad games. Probably felt better at times than it did others but he was never really 100% imo.

 

Big question is....

Who will be calling the plays, Vrabel or Smith?

Yeah considering we don’t really know the extent of his injury wither. Seemed to be more serious than maybe initially thought to be. I think most Titans fans would take those numbers from Marcus.
