If we get into a situation where all of these guys need to be extended, then we'll be a little cap strapped for a little while but we'll be in good shape. Because if they all deserve extensions, then we don't need to add much. But, i highly doubt they all earn the extensions. If they do earn those extensions midway through the season, we try and rework deals or move on from under performing backups at that point and we'll be fine. We don't really need to bring any any "big" money fas this year. If an og, dl or pass rusher is available, i'd go after one of those positions heavy, but leave the rest to the draft. Most of our team is staying together and that's a great thing after only missing the playoffs by one game. We are only losing rak for sure and I would personally probably move on from morgan, but everyone else is coming back, plus we're adding walker, possibly cyp and a healthy conk. So we don't need to be stingy with our money or be saving for anything right now, we need to be maximizing our dollars and shoot for the sb starting right now.

Only reason to sign Henry now is to get him cheap. I am sure Henry is aware of that as well, so why would he sign a contract for cheap when he can come out next season and run his tail off and get a market value contract? It is worth it to take the chance IMO for Henry.

Henry will remember that the Titans tried to trade him in October. He won't be settling for cheap.

Usually teams square that away this time of year. That was the case with Marcus and lot of others

And I mean why would they take his option right now? Hes hurt and played poorly

Well, if you actually go look at the game logs, Henry has averaged more than 4 ypc 6 times in ‘16, 9 times in ‘17, and 7 times in ‘18. He’s also had 60 or more yards in 12 games.

I clearly stated the last month he played well and I wish he would do that more often, before that, I just looked through his game logs (again) and they're terrible.

    2016: 1 time over 60 yards 6 times over 4 ypc
    2017: 4 times over 60 yards 8 times over 4 ypc
2018: 0 times over 60 yards until the last month, 4 times over 4ypc.

    Over 43 games.
    5 or 6/43 over 60 yards.
    14/43 over 4ypc.

Remember when CJ had under 4 ypc for his last two years with us in basically half of his games?
