OLB/DE prospects

If you're wanting to go NT 1st round in Wilkins, Lawrence, Jones, Simmons.. or hell, Quinnen could even drop - [Remember Jonathan Allen couple years ago was a guaranteed Top 5 pick... and he went 18th (granted there was a health aspect, but still)]

then your solid options in Mid Rounds for Edge Defender are:

Jaylon Ferguson - LA Tech
Anthony Nelson - Iowa
& Brian Burns - FSU

 

Oshane Ximines isn't bad either

 

I'd stay away from Raekwon. Underwhelming season playing next to the best IDL in college. Williams was constantly double teamed and Davis didn't do much with it. I think Buggs has more potential but he was pretty underwhelming too.

 

Quinnen will be a monster though. Spent the entire season destroying double teams. Has some Aaron Donald type explosion off the line. He'll be gone very early.

 

Top-45 pick. If we don't take him at 19 we're not taking him.

He's not worth the 19th pick in the draft.

 

I could see us bringing in Danny Shelton or Malcolm Brown from the Patriots....they are both UFA and I'm sure the Pats won't keep both.

This draft is very very deep at both 3-4DE and 3-4OLBer...quality will be found in the 2nd rnd.
