Is Vrabel on the hot seat next season?

The only couple I know and talked are fine moving on from him, but not like they regret he was there or he was a bad coach, just time ran it’s course, it’s time for change and the couple moves recently weren’t favorable.

Vrabel pulled a 9-7 season out of a season decimated by injuries......

He beat the Pats, Texans, Jags (when they were 'hot'), Eagles, Cowboys...4/5 of those teams are in the playoffs, and was a 2pt conversion away from beating the Chargers.

He's not going anywhere....

His Record is only going to get better when we get Conklin, Walker, Casey, Cyp (He'll be a Rover I feel) Mariota all back.... and to top that off --- YOUTH at Pass Rushers......... And finally, my expectation .... a Rookie True DT

However, JROB needs to do HIS part and go get the man a WR #2 Threat.. Open the Checkbook this Free Agency for one.

Won the same number of games regular season. Just lucky to sneak in the playoffs last year. You can keep mularkey, I’ll take vrabel.

 

I've watched both teams extensively. Our coaching personnel is better and it is not even close. They win games mostly because of one player and some cupcake opponents. We won because of great game planning and discipline.

That 2017 schedule was a joke. We played 9 games against playoff opponents this year, compared to 4 a year ago. And two of those were against Blake Bortles. With a Mariota capable of gripping a ball, Walker, Matthews, a healthy Conklin, etc.

And they won the same number of regular season games as last year. We had the same success despite exponentially tougher conditions. If you want to be stubborn enough to give Mularkey a pat on the back while trashing Vrabel, you're not going to get much support.

 

neither mahomes, will grier, nor baker mayfield played in traditional offenses, all of them catered to spreading the field out the shotgun; yet no one says a word about them.
