This season actually hasn’t been disappointing.

I thought that it was over as soon as walker went down and Mariota undoubtedly suffered what would be a lingering injury to his throwing hand. The players and coaches never quit.

 

Can’t blame Davis for poor QB play.

Just look at Indy, their O line was horrid then they invested big on it this season and it paid off. Luck barely touched all year. Our D is pretty good but the 2 games vs Indy we couldn't even get to him. Fix our line and I think we'll be good to go

 

I am upset about our season ending just like everyone else. Including my 9 year old that cried all night due to having to suffer through the Blaine Gabbert experience.

I had to remind him what all of us here already realized , that we were playing without our QB, 2TE, RT, Pro Bowl DT, OLB, slot CB, etc. And we gave it a run until Gabbert remind us who we had at QB.

But I trust JRob. Look at his 3 drafts as compared to previous 8 years. Much better and moving in great direction it appears. I will give a pass on the Dodd miss and what looks like a miss in Austin Johnson. (He really got smothered last night). But we did get Conklin, DHenry, Byaard,Tajae late.

But we are currently dealing with the brutal sins of past drafts. And how about we see if MM can have a chance to develop in the same system with Matt for a little bit.

(That is what I keep reminding myself (and a 9 year old) to keep myself from lighting the Christmas tree on fire, once I get hammered in a few hours, instead of taking the time to take it down.

The sky is not falling but its pretty much not moving. Thats the problem. Injuries killed this team, it was a what could have been. I cannot stand another season with wide-receivers other than Davis. That really killed the season and I will never forget the drop that Nick Williams had to cost us Buffalo game.

 

Luckily all that drop meant is we'd be 10-6 and out of the playoffs right now.
