Bottom line is going to be can we beat andrew luck and the colts. The way Henry is running I actually think we can and will!

And Mariota has a history of playing better late in the season with the playoffs on the line.
Look at what he did last year in the last regular season game.

I used to be a HUGE Mariota fan, but he has been so inconsistent, looking terrible one week, amazing the next.
When he plays well, this team is very very good, so lets hope that clutch Mariota plays vs the Colts.

My likely playoff scenarios.
Assumptions:

Patriots win both their remaining games.
Reason: They play bad teams.

Ravens or Steelers lose at least once.
Reason: Ravens play at Chargers and it's hard to imagine 4 wins between the two of them.

Scenarios.
Titans win both games.
Texans win both games.
Titans play at Patriots.

Titans win both games.
Texans lose 1 game.
Titans play at Texans

Titans win both games.
Texans lose both games.
Texans play at Titans.

While it is theoretically possible for the Titans to make the playoffs at 9-7, I don't see it happening, so I only listed the 10-6 options.

 

Odell is out vs the colts this week

 

If the Pats lose 1, the Texans lose 2, and the Titand win 2 - we would be the two seed behind the Chiefs and get a bye plus a home field 2nd rounder and possibly home field AFC championship if the chiefs lost.

Farfetched, but man that would be awesome.

It is possible, but unlikely, that the Patriots lose to the Bills or Jets. They have been beatable lately.

The Texans could definitely lose in philly this weekend, but losing to the Jags at home week 17 is very unlikely.

* this also assumes both the ravens and steelers lose 1 haha. Like I said, unlikely. But it's fun to dream

 

That would literally be a first. No team has ever had a bye at 10-6 or worse.

 

It's fairly possible that another team besides the titans are the 2 seed with 10 wins this year
