And I'd be happy if we got off the bargain bin WR kick.... but that'll never happen... that's decades old...

 

Good read. I hope they can fix the interior O-line. I would say it's our biggest need right now.

 

So taking into consideration players we can let go of in the offseason, how much could we see our cap space balloon to?

 

The Titans being desperate to get better and the Colts and Texans (two teams that are already a notch or two above the Titans) both having tons of cap space looks like a potential recipe for disaster for the Titans.

I expect JRob to throw money around. Could see him spend a ton on a high-risk guy like Clowney, thinking that he's getting better and hurting the Texans at the same time.

 

This isnt realistic but its possible our available cap figure is $113,204,109 in 2019 if we dump half the roster. Which sounds crazy except that JR has already turned the roster upside down in his first season replacing 50% of the team that year.

as things stand today our expected 2019 cap space is $44,926,074

 

they are either going to make clowney one of the highest paid players in the game or tag him this offseason. he wont see FA

 

I agree, guys like him dont usually reach free agency

Tackles and pass rushers are in the same group with QB's, if they look the part even half the time they get extensions.
