How was Mariota supposed to get a throw off on that play at all. He pushed him out of Mariota’s path but also fell into his path as Marcus was trying to step up.

 

Lolol what?? Marcus was 22-23 for over 300 yards. The passing game was the only thing we could trust.

 

Almost every center in the league makes the blocking and protecton calls.

 

The Titans are going to sign Mariota to an extension that makes it prohibitive from moving on from him for atleast two years after an signing the extension. The Titan's aren't going to finish this season with a bad enough record to end up in a position to take a top qb in the draft class that you can comfortably say is better than Marcus and there isn't a qb in this draft class that's worth packaging picks together for that's surely better than Marcus. Free agent competition for Marcus will drive his price above what Titans would like to get away with paying him but that's the reality and nature of football, where serviceable qb's get paid.

 

Crappy game. Need to fix interior O-line and pass rush during offseason. Another WR to complement Davis would help as well. Not sure why Orakpo is still a starter at this point. This team can be fixed next offseason.

 

I'm still in awe that Mariota could have that statistical game and the team completely dies anyway.
