Post-Game Thread Colts 38-Titans 10

Yeah, don’t want to hear this anymore. Mariota is not a good QB.

 

Kinda hard to believe it’s even the same person as last week, under center. Games like last week are few and far between.
He needs to either walk, or get a very reasonable contract, where he can compete for long-term starter.

The injury history plus the inconsistency is enough to cut him loose when the contract runs out.
The excuses are tired.

 

We haven’t beaten Luck in 10 games. Has he had amazing o-line play or pro bowl skill players? No. That guy is a difference maker at QB. Mariota is good when everything goes his way. when it doesn’t, he sucks.

 

Yep. Every loser QB has excuses for his bad play..and we see them aplenty, here.

At least he doesn’t make the excuses, himself. I like the guy, but he’s another one in the list of Titan QBs that show greatness in flashes, but end up being a total waste of time.

We already passed up on Goff because we stood by Mariota. No mas.

 

To me it seemed like Marcus kept stepping up in the pocket to prove that he is a pocket passer...and stepped right into the sack....seemed like plenty of room outside to scramble....

We aren’t done yet.....10-6 gets us in the playoffs... we could easily get smoked by Houston and then beat Darnold, Bortles, Manning and McCoy to set up week 17 rematch with Indy

 

If I see another MF blame Mariota for this game. He was given an average of 2 seconds today. This is with an awful receiving core. We've seen what he's capable of with a decent O-Line, still with a terrible o-line. Y'all are the worst.

 

How did we ever manage to smash the patriots with this scrub ass team around the GOAT?

Cuz they all play a part... Mary tossed a beautiful INT today. Don’t forget. He also never throws the ball away. Taking excessive hits. Injured, again.

Was it all his fault? F no. But he played terrible right there with the rest of em.

 

Seems to always get hurt when things don't go his way.

 

I’m just tired of the inconsistency. Flashes of good play don’t cut it in the NFL. Plain and simple. He can’t stay healthy, he can’t get rid of the ball, he doesn’t make guys around him better....I’ll give credit where it’s due, he seems like a good dude and he looks unstoppable when he is in the zone, but he craps the bed far more on the regular than we see that. I’m over it. I’m betting that Jrob is too, and I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see them look at QB this offseason. If we don’t, we are foolish in my opinion.

 

while i agree that it is certainly not all his fault, he wasnt doing great either
