Pre-Game Thread Game 7: Titans @ Chargers

Last 2 weeks the O line was garbage and I can't see it being any better in a short week. Unfortunately, i see rivers torching Butler

 

Do the Titans need to improve their performance from the last 2 games? Yes obviously, but if we're just gonna lose faith purely off of what happened the week before than I guess we should have thrown in the towel after the Dolphins game.

I will say though that this team has shown the ability to grind out tough wins and thats what we need to do here. This team doesn't have the playmakers to blow a team away but we're pro's at grinding it out.

 

If it were any other team I'd give us a chance to win, but as mentioned, Rivers and co. own the Titans like we own the jags. Chargers beat us in 3 of the 5 titans games ive been to, I'm just glad I opted not to go to this London game when i considered it, Dallas game too for that matter.

But unless the Chargers lay an egg, we dont have a chance. Their only losses are against the Rams and Chiefs, probably the two best teams in the league. The game being in London is really the only hope we have. It'll be 630am on their body clock so maybe that will have them out of their element.

 

idk what's worse.... the fact that we're 3-3 after a strong 3-1 start vs 3 top half of the league opponents....

or the fact we're about to be embarrassed... which wouldn't be out of the normal, except now it's on an international scale...

 

Mariota will trust Firk more this week. Chargers blitz like the Ravens we'll Firk them up with the slant.

Lost to Miami, thought we would win

Beat Jags, thought we would lose

Beat the Eagles, thought we would lose

Lost to the Bills, thought we would win

Wasn't sure about the Ravens, didn't think it would be that bad though

Thinking we lose to the Chargers...so we win?

 

Sadly that seems like the trend. For some reason we show up to the games we’re not supposed to win but lose to teams like Buffalo and Miami, As far as the Ravens game looked like the team had a hangover.

 

I just do not see our offense scoring even remotely enough to keep the game competitive. I would not be surprised to see some special teams trickery to try to offset the lack of offense.
