So much not to like yesterday.

    Offensively:
    No shots down field
    Henry needed more feeding
More play action rollouts for Mariota, there was no pocket with our lack of protection so needed more lateral movement for him to roll out to buy time
Too much screen / gimmick crap at the line of scrimmage.
    Ball security

    Defensively:
    Soft against the run
Didn't force Allen to beat us
Couldn't believe how obvious it was McCoy was going to get the ball every key third down yet we still couldn't stop him on short, quick passes.
    Missed tackles
We got smashed at LOS both sides of the ball

In hindsight I wish we'd won yesterday and lost last week in terms of AFC seedings. Huge game at home against Ravens now, hopefully a bounce back performance and at least more entertaining to watch - yesterday was just wretched.

Looking at the Rams offense and our offense so far, I am starting to believe the brains was all McVey and LaFleur was no big loss to them and that's why they let him come here so easily. I am not giving up on LaFleur but yesterday was very underwhelming. What was it with all the bunch packages getting all cute and no shots down field to loosen the defense? Also, why not rollout MM8 more since we couldn't block or run temp/no huddle to get the offense in sync.

Rewatching the game, and I'm just as disappointed in the botched FG attempt as I remember being when watching it live. The ball hit Correa right in the hands, had both hands on it ... everyone is behind him caught up in the mess at the line, and not like any of them are going to run him down, anyways. If he hangs on to that, it's an 80-yard pick 6.

Can we discuss the almost sack in Mariota the announcers tried blaming on the new rule??? That guy had NO argument lol hebhit and let go immediately at the least he could of just kept holding on to Mariota until the whistle..

It is always dangerous to try and compare offenses and blame the OC for insufficiencies....our #1 WR would be the #4 WR for the Rams...their RB is way more dynamic than our 2 headed monster.

I watched the game yesterday for the 1st time because I was traveling on Sunday and could only listen to it...I was expecting to see a totally bland offensive scheme, but I was actually pleased with the different use of personnel and plays. We only had 2 punts all day....we have a nice pass to Taylor and he fumbles to kill 1st drive...we have a great 20yd pass to Davis and the next play Lewis fumbles...

I have no problem with how the game was called....the players failed to hold onto the ball and that cost us. You can't call a bunch of deep passes when you have your 5th string OT protecting the blindside for most of the game.

It wasnt because of the new rule, looks to me he thought Marcus threw the ball so he let up. He looked confused once he saw 8 take off running.

What did you think about the O line's inability to block? They were out muscled by the Bill's front four. There was a lot of pressure on MM8 all game so I was think why no rollout plays to help out?

Unfortunately as I've mentioned previously, the Titans play with too fine margin for error. We historically lack big plays and our scoring is always a grind. We take a 6 minute drive which typically results in a FG. Therefore we're always stuck in close games even against teams we should beat. Compare that to the Saints last night, an offensive juggernaut.

Aside from week 2 against the jags last year where we suddenly scored 3x quick TD's without reply I cant recall a similar offensive barrage from us. Therefore we get stuck scrapping around in low scoring games and we're only an error or big play against us from losing.
