Post-Game Thread Titans 20, Dolphins 27

It is an easy fix for this team ... add more former Patriots! Let's get the long snapper from Super Bowl XXXVI and hire him as our OC. That'll get us humming!!

 

Missed call on the cheap shot and a phantom holding call to call back a game tying TD. I'm always the person telling people that refs don't have it out for any team, and if they make a bad call it's usually just a mistake or they're bad at their job. But at this point, I genuinely believe at this point that Boggart has something against TN. I never normally pay attention to who the refs are, but I have too many memories of his crew making horrible calls against the Titans that have cost us several games. I know it's still ridiculous, but that was awful.

That said, it just added to everything else that went wrong. This was worse than anything I could have imagined for the outcome of today.

 

Today’s game is a microcosm of the season ahead. Long and filled with some moments but overall a huge disappointment.

 

To be fair, I got the feeling Mariota didn't quit on his team. I think the coaches saw him playing poorly and called him on it by benching him. Sure he may have been a little hurt, but I think he would have gone back out, but wasn't his choice.

I said in the GDT I'll wait till at least mid season to decide one way or the other. But today was bad, he needs to be better .And my initial thought is they may need to look QB in the first.

Titans have now lost 5 in a row, when this is the ref. He also tends to call a lot of bogus penalties and horrible calls.

 

No one is buying tickets to this dumpster fire. Sadly coaching is still lacking as much as ever...Bad challenges, bad use of timeouts, not calling out the refs. MM is done here, time to move on. I wish we had a real backup QB to put in and learn the offense. The OL and DL are absolute trash. No pressure, no holes....You can't win or sell tickets to that, sorry.....no money for joo!!
