Xaviar is a shut down corner. Bad matchup for Corey Davis

I never expect anything from Corey. Mathews is our true reliable #1 WR. Agree, Delanie and Dion will be a tough cover for them. I hope Tajae can make an impact.

I have the Titans +14. One very important hint that the experts overlooked is that coming into the 2018-19 season the Titans have the best rush defense in the NFL . They are #1 and it's all based on the numerous defense against the rush combined stats. The Dolphins are coming into the season ranked statistically as a below-fair rushing team. Unless there has been drastic changes in their offensive line and running game I doubt that they will be able to run the ball effectively against the Titans. Also the little tid bit of information that the experts overlooked that was right under their nose is that the Dolphins are marching into the 2018-19 season dead last in defending against the run. Oh wow, against Mariota I have a feeling they're going to be obliterated. The Titans aren't really known for their rushing but I think they will be after this game is over. I think it will be a rout

They are well within the intelligence from that stand point...

They have no qb, no legit rb (drake is still back teens), no defense at all, their only wr that is even of small account is doubtful to play.

Kinda hard to sell tickets to a fan base that could be lounging on a beach for 3 hours instead of rolling in their own puke...... Everyone tries to model franchises after the browns fanbase, always bad, but always representing..... Miami isn't Cleveland..... There's actually shh to do there lol..

It may be just because the game is getting closer, but I was super confident early this week now not so much.

Part of it could be listening to Mike Keith on various videos, radio interviews and the podcast. Though I love the guy and think he's probably the best in the NFL at his job, I feel like a lot of times he tries to temper expectations so if something goes wrong it's like the Titans have an excuse for losing. Titans lost? "Well they were banged up and Dennis Kelly had to go against Cameron Wake." I felt like he talked more about the Dolphins and were hyping them up on this last podcast than he did the Titans.

    Mike Keith is a cheerleader

I'd never let his opinion sway me one way or the other

Denis Kelly will not be left alone on Wake, I can promise you this.

I guess I still have PTSD from Whisenhunt leaving Will Svitek on JJ Watt 1 on 1.

That's a perfect description of Mike Keith.

I’ve paid for a bus full of hookers to keep Dave McGinnis occupied from Noon-3PM.

    Hope it works.

I have a feeling we will see a big dose of Henry at first to see if we can run over and around these guys. When they load the box, I expect us to start hitting them with that little wr screen we ran several times against TB in pre-season as well as the max protect to man route with one wr going deep post and the other on the 'trans-continental' crosser. But I think we will also see us mismatch Lewis against them in both spelling Henry as a change of pace and featuring him in the passing game. And then we will see Davis and Walker get more 1v1 if they have to put 8 in the box or put a S to cover Lewis.

On D it'll be interesting to see who's gonna play (Landry, Evans) and how much Jayon Brown gets to rush the passer as opposed to covering say Drake. If I'm the Dolphins I go heavy personell sets and try and get Compton 1v1 on Drake. I think they will try and run the ball, mix in the short passing game to keep Tanny upright, but pick their spots to go playaction deep. The two big rule changes seem to affect us more than some teams (landing full bodyweight on the qb, not dropping the helmet to initiate contact)...so we need to clean that up!

I like what I've seen of the new offense in terms of design...but we still have to execute and it starts upfront with blocking...and I mean you too TE's!:) But we all want to see Mariota play much better than he did last year. Good decisionmaking, accurate throws, and get him moving a bit and give him some RPO's and we should be good to go. And remind our special teams that yellow flags aren't required on every big return!
