Pre-Game Thread Game 1: Titans @ Dolphins

I have no idea what 74-5 is referring to. The game is either -1 or even everywhere I've seen.

 

I don’t think that means much in Vegas.

 

Things I am looking for:

RUN THE BALL: The Fish D is pretty small on the DL. If their ILBs are as weak as I've read, 22 should have a monster day running between the tackles. I do think Mariota is going to need to make some plays downfield because, no doubt, the Fish will play to stop the run first.

PRESSURE: There wasn't much in the preseason but let's hope that was because the Titans stayed vanilla and Pees has a plan. It's great hearing Morgan was a full participant today. The Fish OL has been revamped and Tannehill hasn't started a regular season game for 20 months. We don't want him to get comfortable.

RHYTHM: The offense needs to find a groove. Nothing would be better than to see the Titans O march down the field, mixing up plays, and scoring early. I want to see Mariota showing composure in the pocket, making good reads and giving his receivers a chance to make a play.

ADJUSTMENTS: If the Titans struggle, I'm wanting to see how well this new coaching staff responds on both sides of the ball. I have confidence Pees has been around long enough to knows how to adjust. We'll see about how LaFleur handles adversity. Running the same play until "something pops" isn't going to cut it.
