Funny they reference PFF for something then later say MM8 is dreadful under pressure. PFF ranked MM8 top 5 QB under pressure last year.

Who said these guys had to make sense!?!?!? LOL

Gives them something to write or talk about...even if they don't know. But the general idea is correct...our starting O has been not very good and it's hard to just attribute that to us being 'vanilla.'

I think this could be a much closer game than it should be considering the Titans starting O has not looked good/consitent, has injuries and not a lot of practice time so far to work the kinks out.

We are a bit banged up on D too - especially at LB - both ILB and OLB.

Expect the Dolphins to try and get us to match Compton up with Drake out of the backfield. If I were the Titans...Brown is in the game every time Drake is.

I expect us to pound the rock, get Lewis out in space both with runs and in the passing game and force them to either change personel (nickel) or bring another defender in the box and put a S on Lewis...giving Walker and WR's better coverage matchups. Except a lot of RPO's and screens and to ease Mariotta into the passing game with either RPO's, screens, or playaction.

On paper we should win in each of the 3 phases of the game...but I think it'll be closer than it should...Titans 20-17.

You double your money if you pick the winning team. The even only means that the source I use for point spreads doesn't have either team the favorite.

74-5 doesn't seem like it should be even odds to me.

Given that spread i'd put alot of money on the Dogs.

To be fair, they referenced the PS where Mariota was bad under pressure. Which was true. But it was also PS, so who knows. Also, I'd argue the Titans faced better starting defenses in the PS than what Miami has. Lot's of Henry and PA, along with some screens. It'll be nice to see the real LaFleur playbook and play calling.

Mariota's pocket presence absolutely sucks, but he's fine when he's aware of the pressure . I wonder if it is actually a skill which can be learned over time. Rookies like Mayfield and Watson look like 15 year pros compared to Mariota when it comes to feeling pressure and staying composed.
