Those expectations are completely fair. Being critical because he's injured and unable to contribute is not fair. The DROY last year had huge medical red flags. Nobody knows how these things will play out.

    It's not unfounded.

Kevin Dodd #33 overall pick. Lost in TC and early season to foot injury that should've been picked up by medical scouting. JRob even owned that bad pick himself by saying he needed to do a better job of scouting.

Corey Davis #5 overall pick. Essential non-factor his rookie season. Inexcusable for a non QB top 10 pick to contribute at that level.

Rashaan Evans #22 overall pick- out all TC except 3 days. History of grade III groin TEAR. Current injury undisclosed.

It's a pattern for 3 years in a row. It isn't just speculation that each year of JRob's first (or very near) round picks have missed signficant camp and rookie year time due to injury. It IS speculation. But it is NOT unfounded.

How many years in a row does this occur before you begin to question it is more than misfortune?

Sky can't hold up for 3 years in a row. Which is 100% of JRob's drafts btw.

His career was ruined because he didn't want to play football...

Really excited to see him get in there and rush the passer which Is his strong suit. I expect he'll be available for the season opener but clearly won't start any time soon. Besides Brown has earned the spot next to Woodyard. Brown is speedy enough he can also get after the QB so there's NO reason to rush Evans.

For those who have mentioned That the Titans current GM and staff looks bad because some of their early round draft picks have been injured, take this into perspective.

Ruston Webster was GM for 5 seasons. Zero winning seasons, zero playoffs, 23 and 57 win loss record.

Jon Robinson GM for 2 seasons. 2 winning seasons. Made the playoffs in the second season. 18 and 14 win loss record.

If his drafts make him look bad, but the team continues to improve, I'll take it! JS

What is unfounded is your speculation on what the injury is. You have no real basis to say it is one that is preexisting, ie JRob had knowledge of it. If it is a different injury, a new one, you can blame Jrob...so not 3 years in a row right.

Let's keep ignoring the fact that Davis had an injury during his rookie season, and how that may have affected his performance and development. Or that bashing a rookie weeks before the season starts is ridiculous.

I don't believe @Riverman is bashing the players, but more talking about how this falls on JRob's shoulders for continually bringing in players with significant injury concerns only to lose them for their subsequent Rookie season.
