    Yeah Mariota runs, but about 40% of the time he can run for positive yardage. Mariota does need to learn how to throw the ball away and not force throws. But I'd rather have a QB who can run when the pocket is collapsing and give the offense a chance than just "stand tall" and take a sack.

    Teddy evades guys and stays in the pocket so WRs aren't scrambling on their end

    I am a huge Mariota fan, but sadly I have to agree.
    Mariota has been average, or slightly above average his first 3 years.
    (ESPN Total QBR rating in the 50's all three years.)

    But, for those of you saying he has to go, rarely is a mediocre QB let go.
    Far too many teams have a BAD QB as a starter.
    I know we were expecting more, but average is better than bad.
    AND.....He played really well in the last regular season game and the first play off game. He showed MASSIVE desire to carry his team into the playoffs and into the second round. That's worth something.

    I've been a massive Mariota fan, but he is also the most frustrating Titan of all-time to me. The guy needs to learn to take 2-3 steps UP in the pocket, and still has failed to do so entirely.

    Sadly, unless he suddenly pulls a 180, its time he is throwing INTs for someone else.

    4th year under his what...3rd coordinator? I give him 2 years in this system...with the players we now have if we arent killing it year 2 in this scenario I will listen to this argument.

    Those were our options at the time.... And he was fine first 2 years and then stumbled due to incompetent COORDINATOR and HC.... How many times does that need repeated before it starts to stir in your mind that it's true..

    He's thrown 1 pick in Preseason, didn't have Delanie or Rishard, Oline played sub-par, and you're ready to toss him to the wolves...

    Taking a vote, for @TitanJeff to change DW's username to Negative Nancy...
