It's practice. He's trying to get the technical stuff down in the new system. They aren't playing backyard football, it's much more important that they are mastering the steps of the play as opposed to going Beast Mode on someone

 

Fight for the ball... I never said he had to say a word -- I was saying attitude as in treating that corner as if he's a bill collector come to foreclose on his mothers house.....

 

Dude, Butler was an All-Pro and signed a good contract with us for a reason. I'd be very concerned if he wasn't getting the better of a 2nd year WR trying to learn a completely new system on some reps. Davis has returned the favor plenty, per onlookers. This is his second OC in his two years in the league, while Butler is a veteran in a defensive scheme very similar to what he is used to. Everything is routine to him, while Davis is just trying to get on the same page as his QB. It's a non-issue.

 

Not to mention the sheer repetition of plays the D has seen the offense run. I would be worried if they didn’t jump a route after seeing the same plays every day over and over again.

 

And that all goes back to my statement I made after that video was posted.... where I said - Corey needs to be covered by Malcolm.... every-- single---- time....

Screw letting Adoree on him, at least for the time being.
