He should have no more input than any other "franchise player". If a LB is a leader of the team or the "defensive QB" then he should have the same say. If a team is really run through a RB he should have a say then.

really though, none of them should. If a QB can convince his WR to take pay cuts to continue staying with that QB, then I'm sure that input would have value. If it's to say "don't release my WR" regardless of the terrible shape the Defense is in (Rodgers situation in GB) then maybe they should tell Rodgers directly, shut the F up and throw the football. Rodgers input should really only be considered in the big scheme of not liking the overall direction of the team and in that case, he may make comments more towards wanting to be traded or released himself.

All that falls on the GM not Lebron. Lebron wants/ask for those guys but not the contracts that were given out. Im sure he has say on who can be traded but u cant say for what comes back. If u want to base it all on Lebron, he puts his teams in the finals every single yr wether they win or not hes there competing for a championship. I see nothing wrong with that.

Give him some say? No. A heads up to make him feel like he had a say and avoid a stink? Maybe.

Depends on whether or not I trust him.

Give him a pot to puke in, a tissue to sneeze in -- and tell him to get over it.
