    You'd charcoal your bacon before the potato was ever cooked.

    I'm not usually one to eat the skin of a baked potato but the smell the bacon sends out is amazing.

    Ok so what I did. Take a 1lb potato and wash in cold water.

    Sprinkle the entire potato with salt. I used. Sea salt grinder.

    Bake side-A of the potato at 400 for 40 minutes.

    Take out and wrap in bacon. I used 3 slices of maple glazed bacon. Set back in oven on side-B for another 30-40 minutes til bacon looks like the pic above.

    Take out and dry bacon grease with paper towel and serve. I used butter and pepper to flavor, but I had cheese on hand in case but the aroma was too much to wait.
