2018 UDFA Rookies

Maybe it's just me, but previous staffs seemed overly loyal to vets. Talented young players were held back in development.

Just a gut feeling, but I think this new coaching staff is just the type to reward some of these guys for hard work and performance in camp and pre season if some of last year's guys are phoning it in. Several of these guys could make it onto the roster even though we have better players now.

 

Dalyn Dawkins RB 5'9 185 Colorado State
Elijaah Goins CB 6'1 200 Ohio State

Neither player was rated.

Goins was a walk-on who played special teams.

I would think we are getting to the point where some of these guys are rookie mini-camp invites instead of UDFA signings.

 

This guy .....dayum.

 

Stop signing 5'9 guys and sign Darren Carrington!! Lol

 

Wadley and Burnett are the 2 biggest names. They have good chances to make the team but it won't be easy to beat out Flu & Campanaro which is what they may have to do in order make the team. Remember ST often makes these decisions and Flu & Camp are good ST players.

 

like 4 people at most make the team. only 2 have an actual chance at playing.
