Pick #152 of the 2018 NFL Draft: Safety Dane Cruikshank, Arizona

Didn’t know much about him before the pick. Seems like a solid player after watching the tape. Seems very versatile. Could be a good complement to KB as a SS. Will be interesting to see if he can beat out Cyp in camp.

 

Didn't who dude was until we drafted him, but he looks like a solid st guy year one and looks to fill a s #3 role as he can cover and hit. Beyond that it's about development and determination for this guy, his athletic tools could make him one of the best s in the game. But, worse case we drafted our s #3/#4 and a solid st guy for the next couple years

 

Worst draft in Jon Robinson era.

 

Also with this kids athletic ability, it could give Pees a chance to recreate what he had in Baltimore with Pollard and Reed. Kevin Byard definitely has Ed Reed like traits. Could Robinson just have given Pees his next Bernard Pollard with Cruikshank?

2018 post-combine Chiefs mock draft 2.0

 

The safety class in this draft was extremely athletic. I figured we would go for one late. Will certainly contribute on STs right away.

 

I think he looks extremely solid. Not sure why some don't like the pick.

 

Because some folks on here don’t like ANY picks and loved to moan about it. It’s especially funny when someone gets hyper twisted over a 7th rounder: “ We could’ve had Bunny Scheinbottom LB from WTH University!”
