and so is our trade options too.. if you thought it sucked having our options blown up by pick 2, whew..... 24 gonna seem like eternity...

I think that we will try not to pick @25. Get a good trade and pick more players in 2nd and 3rd round. Maybe one of these "1st rd players" are avaliable in top of 2nd. Who knows.

I would rather us trade up and get a really good 1st rounder with our second rather than us trade down and get multiple second rounders. While I love having 2 1st rounders last year, our 3 2nd rounders didnt shock the world. We got a huge disappointment in an edge russher, a DT thats JAG and a running back that cant change direction and isnt an every down back.

Ideally I'd like us to draft a starter in the first (Evans) and a starter or high rotational guy in the second (Carter, Sweat, Key or Settle)

I hope this is the case if our ILB isn't there. Especially if we want a guy like sweat, key or hubbard(@Broken Arrow). These guys have 2nd round grades written all over them.

i am willing to bet anything that if we hang around the 1st rd, it will be sweat, key, or hubbard.... and they're all three at the top of the list STILL if we get down to 33

I'll take that bet. Jr ain't drafting one of them at 25...

doesn't have to be just 25 either though ... notice I said 'Anywhere in the 1st rd' --- could be 31 --- (which would be my ideal scenario) trade with new england, get SF's 2nd rd pick, send them a future - and maybe involve another round somewhere

and JR doesn't draft first rounders he hasn't brought in for official visits.....

past draft picks . conklin, davis, jackson --- 3/3

    This year:

JACKSON, ALEXANDER, KEY, HUBBARD, SWEAT ---- all 1st rounders to back 1st talents...... everybody else 2nd rounder...

and for the record, ZERO ilb's have made official visits........

and honestly, you REALLY see them going corner in the 1st????....... or even top 2nd if we trade back????..... what players does that leave.
