You do realize that the Avs have bandwagon fans, too? In their glory days, by your definition, the majority of Avs fans were bandwagon fans.

You gonna pick a couple back up now they’re winning? I stuck with them because I was into the game day experience.

I’m a lot older now. I’d rather go see them play in another city. Going to Nissan is boring and old to me now. I can’t commit the entire day necessary 8 Sundays. Winning helps but the experience is just as important IMO. I let me season tix go this year for that reason. I may go to one home game and one away. I’ll pay to see a playoff game if it happens. Other than that I’ll watch on my big screen by the creek or at the lake.

Win or lose it’s a fun time sitting in Bridgestone watching clips that are actually funny. And walking around the honky Tonk’s etc. It’s always cool and dry in Bridgestone. Not so much at Nissan.

I hear they're sold out for next season already. If I were to sell my four Titans PSLs and find two elsewhere, that would open up some funds for the Preds.

    Time for a dome. :brow:

Ha. I agree, I am all about passionate fan bases, but the obnxious fan bases that have nothing else going on with their lives is another thing.

Any teaming that is winning is going to have more support than teams that dont. That isnt bandwagon. Bandwagon is flipping from one team to the next. I mean, the KC Royals had terrible attendence for years, but when they are finally good, that was a great stadium and great fan support.

And also, the NHL in general lacks in attendence when the team isnt good. The Blackhawks were terrible in attendance before they started winning. The conspiracy is the NHL made sure the Penguins got Crosby because they were afraid one of the one of the most notable teams in the league having to move because attendance wasnt good. Football has an advantage in the regard that it is only 8 home games, and they are almost all on weekends, but the NHL, NBA, or MLB, is going to have trouble with fans spending money for 40+ (or MLB 80+) home games, if the teams arent competitive.

They are sold out next year for full season packages, but I assume they will still have some partial packages, or like the 8 game min plans or whatever (at least I hope, I have done the mini plan several times for weekend games, I didnt this year, but it was a good little plan for people who arent interested in season tickets, and who have to get up early during the week).

I hate football in domes, but I think that is coming at some point. And I think we will get a Superbowl and final four with it. It is so weird though, that a still relatively young stadium, is to the point of being out dated. What happened to the baseball stadiums that were around for 80 years? I am for a new stadium, but the tax bill wont like it :chairwack:

If we do a new stadium, I would want one of those roofs that close only for crap weather or temps.

But back to the topic, the Preds don't look like a team who will be playing deep into the playoffs. Even in their wins, they're not looking great. They better find some answers quickly.
