There’s an argument to be made that we should go ahead and bite the bullet. Each qb up breaks the record for biggest deal ever. We’d save some coin if we jumped a couple of spots in line.

 

I'm high fiving this for now but the math may favor us not paying early

Really determines how much these QB deals go up to and if they ever level off or just keep hitting new highs

 

I'm STILL convinced he's gone if he doesn't play better than he did last year.


He may bench ride the rest of his contract, but we're not keeping him on field if he does last year all over.

 

Those other QBs showed flashes of "maybe top QB some day" type play.

If he does anything remotely similar to that again, sure.
