Steve Watterson retiring as strength and conditioning coach

Were in the middle of the pack regarding hammys.

I looked it up, some teams had upwards of 9 hammys last year, I think we had 5.

 

Damn near every fanbase bitches about hamstring injuries. They're just tough to get over once they happen.

When evaluating the strength coach you really need to look at the difference rookies go through physically from year 1 to year 2. I think Watterson did a good job getting guys into professional shape.

 

Did anyone like Watterson coming out of college? I wasn’t born yet so...

Would probably be meaningless anyways.

Players on bad teams, and those running bad teams, get more official injuries because from the players perspective overstating an injury potentially prolongs their career and from the FO perspective it is a tool to tank without actually tanking. How the ponies got sLuck. had like 20 guys on IR at the end of the season.

while players tend to play thru injuries on good teams.

Yes, he's the one that threw hot coffee/broth on a sqeeler....gotta like that. On a side note, I met a former sqeeler on vacation to the DR this week. Corbin Bryant...nice enough guy...for a sqeeler.
