Streaming quality with YouTube TV has been great for me. It allows you to share your account with up to 6 "family members." I believe each account can have 2 devices going at a time. All you have to have is a gmail address to qualify for an extra account.

    Any streaming 4K right now?

The one plus with Xfinity I have going at the moment is watching Netflix in 4K through their apps system.

You can get 3 months of Directv NOW (35 a month) and if you pay ahead which comes to 105, they throw in a free Apple 4k tv. Seen the same one at walmart for 179 yesterday so thats a pretty good deal. Plus you get 3 months to see if you like it. Now you can stream 4k on your apple tv no matter what service you use.

Youtube TV sounds great, however, we get both Chicago and Quad Cities locals and were too far to the Quad Cities that Youtube TV is not available. So stupid we live in 2018 and I cannot buy a product living within the U.S. based on where I live.

We are trying out HULU TV now for the DVR function. However, again because of where I live, we do not qualify for any local channels besides Fox 18. Living in Illinois the biggest challenge is trying to live without NFL Sunday Ticket. Have not been able to do that since 2005. AND NO, NOT DOING THE FIRESTICK KODI THING lol.

I might got a Roku for one TV and do the trials to see if I want to make the leap.

From what I understand, only Netflix and Amazon stream some 4K movies and no one is streaming shows or sports yet. Too much bandwidth.

You'll like it. I've had one since the end of January.

Start with Life 2. I was blown away.

The only issue is that it's mostly Netflix originals that are streamed in 4K. It's not as dramatic as going from analog to HD but it's very noticable. More like the jump from DVDs to Blu-ray.

I admit to watching sub-par Netflix originals just because they are in 4K. :brow:
