If I'm JRob I'm on the phone with his agent and offering this deal...3 yrs 50 mil 35 mil guaranteed. 25 mil this year fully guaranteed, 5 mil guaranteed next 2 yrs. Take the big cap hit this year before we have to resign Lewan and Mariota.

 

This is what I've been saying concerning the folks who can only see MM8 and Lewan. If we get the majority of his pay out of the way before that then we are good.

He was not pushed to the ground. He was wrapped and tackled. They showed this play 100 times in slow motion after that game. You can say it 1000x but it still doesn't make it true.

 

Just because they can convince a bunch of mouth breathers that it was a penalty or some sort of conspiracy doesn't make it true. He was never wrapped up. He tried to make a move to the QB, got off balance, and was pushed to the ground. He kept his hands flat on him while he was going to the ground.

I hate NE and agree they get a bunch of calls their way, but calling that a penalty is a huge reach. I mean,I know how it looks, but in real time, it's clear that it was a normal block that just looked a lot more incriminating once Dareus began falling down and Cannon was trying to reestablish hand contact.
