Dareus being tackled just near Brady's feet on that play. Fowler was held the entire play...never got a chance to get close.

And this was one of many blatant holds in the 2nd half.

The Titans front office aren’t hillbillies. I am sure player recruitment was a component in the pitch. I think the fact that he scrubbed the Raiders visit means he was impressed wth the Rams in totality and did not need or want the Raiders for leverage.

If he joins the rams them it really isn't all about the money as he will have to accept a team friendly deal along with the state income tax. He would almost be making half of what he made in MIA

I agree with the majority and I think him stopping the visits with the Rams doesnt automatically mean that he chose the Rams. He very well could of just said "I've seen all I need to see" as far as the the whole process in its totality, not just the Rams visit.

Dareus did not get tackled. He fell down, got pancaked, however you want to look at it, but the only reason that looks bad in a still frame is because Dareus fell down and Cannon fell on top of him. He is an interior rusher who tried to get around a good RT and paid the price. To suggest that a run stuffing DT somehow beat him with an outside speed rush to the point that he needed to be tackled is hilarious. He lost a matchup, it gets called as a hold 0 out of 10 times, and anyone who says otherwise is making excuses.

There's more of a case to be made for the other player, but it was just a late rip move by a defender who was engaged. Not a blatant hold at all, and so far after the fact that it didn't matter at all.

Thats false. He got through his blocker and was brought down with an arm hooked around his shoulder from behind. Clearly seen here he had Cannon beat. Dareus is a former all pro who had 10 sacks that season, not just a run stuffer.

Once you let a man that size get around the edge on you his forward drive isn't going to be stopped unless he's taken down, which he was, and there was much debate over it within the media as they showed the play in slow motion which showed him being hooked and brought down. It would have been his 2nd sack of the day.

What you are seeing is him getting pushed to the ground, aka pancaked. Once a man that size attempts to get that low to the ground at that speed, a tackle whose job is to deal with every type of pass rush known to man will use his momentum against him.

You must not have ever seen the Patriots play before. Their entire pass protection scheme involves keeping the inside of the pocket clean for Brady. He could give less of a damn about a 300 lbs linemen getting pancaked several yards away from him. And wake me up when Dareus has another 10 sack season. That's who he was, not who he is.
