Calais Campbell, the culture-changing, team-transforming pass rusher had 9 of his sacks against Houston and Indianapolis. They led the league in sacks by feasting on awful teams, yet pressured Tom Brady 9 times. Let's not act like things which apply to every team are exclusive to Tennessee.

Too bad for him there aren't more Tom Savages and Jacoby Brissets in the league, or else that pass rush may have shown up in a game that mattered.

 

To act like suh would give this d a huge boost is foolish. We have on our roster that gets double teamed and that's it. That's why we had little success rushing the passer unless we sent 5 or 6 guys. If we added suh, teams would be forced to have 6 guys blocking on passing plays, when we're only sending 4 or 5. That only leaves 4 guys max running routes, while we have 6 or 7 to cover them. Have a dominant front makes it easier for everybody. I know he's 31, but he is still playing at a pro bowl level and will for another 2 or 3 years. Safety and ilb become less of a need if we signed him. I'm not gonna get upset if we miss out on him, but he'd be a huge addition. I also like the idea of adding hankins, vea or payne if we miss out on suh.

 

Do we need to again post the pic of Brady on that 3rd and 18 with two rushers being tackled from behind and by their jersey?
