DL Ndamukong Suh signs with Rams

I love the ebb and flow of this board this time of year. Four days ago everyone was on the Suh Train.

Now people are jumping off for absolutely no reason at all. Now he’s 31, a cancer, didn’t make the playoffs, he’ll cost too much. All of those things were the same four days ago.

The field over the Titans was always the safer bet, but you guys got your hopes up so fast and now you’re trying to talk yourself into believing he isn’t one of the best DL in the league. It’s like when you talk to a girl at the bar and she talks to someone after you. You sit there and tell yourself she was never that hot in the first place.

 

I always thought it was a bit risky. I mean, he’s at the age where he could fall off. Knowing he got his last payday, it wouldn’t shock me if he mailed it in a bit.

But mainly I don’t want to see us miss out on Hankins because suh is running around playing attention wh0re. No other FA makes a two week reality show out of the process, why should he?

It just reeks of Manning when he was a FA. We courted, missed out on others, and got left at the altar holding our...

 

I would like to see us get a deal all but final with Hankins. Then call suh and make an offer. Tell him, we are going to sign a DT in the next hour. You or the other guy, your call.

 

You guys act like we can't talk to multiple players at once.

And let's not forget, we had a shot at Hankins 12 months ago and chose to go with Sly Williams instead. Maybe JRob just ain't a fan?

 

Of course we can. But you aren’t going to take the 8 home while you still have a shot at the 10.

At some point you have to decide the bird in the hand is better.

 

Suh will make our defense one of the best in the league. We will finally be able to create pressure again rushing 4 instead of going all out blitz.

 

I guess my post was in reference to the lines coming ou tlike 'its about fit, not money' from his team.

But what happens when you give up on the 10 cause they're still trying to party and even the 8 turns you down?

Then the you look around and the 10 already left or curves you cause you couldn't be patient.

Either way, gotta move on with your life just like they did.

Besides, you'll probably still be content heating up that bottle of jergens anyways.
