I hope your right. But Butler hasnt ever been a shut down corner. Hes an average player at best. But you are right, hopefully with a solid supporting cast he could break out and potenially have his best career numbers in Nashville. Just dont get your hopes up.

 

I say we cut him after 2020. 24M guaranteed is already enough for an average CB. But if we performs his numbers than I would be more than happy to keep him past 2020.

Not necessarily. There are some other options still better than Sly. Bennie Logan from KC can be option C. Heck we could probabaly get Sly back for cheaper if we’re that desperate, but (even thought he gets a lot of hate) I’d rather roll with Austin Johnson over Sly if those are the only two options.
