But we wouldn't need Brown to be a run stuffing lb with Suh on the line. We were the worst team last year in covering RBs and TEs. We need more speed and better coverage intincts in that area.

 

The fact he isn't 30 yet is even more concerning. You should be under 30 in the NFL and be that damn slow.

Teams sometimes deploy 2 smaller ILB's like Brown so it wouldnt be too bad, but it wouldnt come without some issues. TE's will be able to overpower him on runs.

Suh would make everyones life a little easier tho so it could be done.

If the Rams can offer Suh something within his reasonable range, that's where I see him going. That's where I would go. That D will be elite with that DL and with Peters and Talib in the back end. Scary. Who do you double team? Suh or Donald??

I'm drastically lowering my expectations. Let's go get Hankins and call it a day.

 

I will say it's nice to be in the conversation, clearly JR also feels this team is close. I wonder how much Suh liked his old DL coach, and if that would sway the situation. Hankins would be a good consolation prize though. Hope we bring him in sooner than later, even before Suh makes a decision.

 

I completely agree. Right now it's between Titans and Rams IMO. These two teams are most likely to go far in the playoffs and have the biggest upside. Although the Saints were a play away from the NFCCG, their window is closing with Brees retiring soon.

If I'm Suh and don't care so much about money (as reported), then Rams is my choice. Opposite of Donald and in front of what appears to be an elite secondary. Plus their offense is much better as of now.
