Right. They assign grades based on criteria they made up. Everything is graded evenly, but the criteria is subjective because they determine what is and isn't important.

It's like ESPN's QBR. Is it better than passer rating? No, it's just different.

"They watched every snap," is bull****. They release their CB/S grades before the all-22 is made available.

 

Neither can coaches when they're watching film of opponents. Nothing's perfect unless it's the coach of that specific team. However, the opinion of people who watch All-22 professionally is much more valid than your average joes on this website.

But PFF isnt off on Butler.

Butler was absolustely ass-cheeks last year. Lets hope he turns it around with us this year.

 

PFF is like any other tool on the internet. It has some good info. It isn’t the gospel. It isn’t worthless. It’s merely one piece of data.

 

The importance of a good CB, will make our WR's that much better.

 

Didn’t they rate cyp really highly in pass coverage last year? Did you see a top 5 co er s from Cyp this year?

Their ratings are junk. I don’t follow them (for obvious reasons) but they claimed to be able to do their db rankings based on the broadcast view...which is not possible!

If you want to know how well a player plays...watch yourself!
