Damnit, excellent move for the Colts lol.

It's easy to say the Jets are dumb but I'm assuming they like 3 QBs and this guarantees they get one -- can't hate on that.

It is a deep QB class, but I think last years was safer. All of those guys had great stats in college and playmaking/throw on the run ability.

Darnold is coming off a poor outing, Rosen seems a bit like a less talented Goff, Mayfield has the Manziel comparison looming over his head, and Allen has arm talent which is comparable to Mahomes, but his numbers were much worse against poor competition with a shockingly low completion percentage. I can't understand why teams like NY and Buffalo who passed up QBs last year are suddenly being so aggressive.

It’s tough to know what other teams were offering for the third pick. It likely was a bidding war with other teams needing a QB so the Jets had to overpay to get the pick. Th Colts must be feeling pretty good about Andrew Luck’s shoulder, which is a huge gamble on a QB who reportedly hasn’t thrown a ball in months.

If I’m the Colts, I still take a QB. Luck has been injured often. Ya can’t win in this league without a quality QB that can step up. They won’t though, and that’s good for us. I’m thinking they take who’s there at 6 like Nelson, Fitzpatrick, etc?

Good trade for the Colts ,unfortunately .They have a lot of holes ,and really need to hit in most their picks this year to rebuild .

A trade like this, over a month before the draft, is fascinating to me. To me, this conclusively establishes that QBs will go #1-3 and, moreover, it’s well-known in NFL circles who those 3 QBs are.

It’s been reported that the Jets tried to do a deal with the Browns and Giants but were rejected. Giants are not staying at 2 and giving up all that trade haul to pick Nelson or Barkley; they are going QB.

Also, the Jets would not have given up all those picks to MAYBE pick the QB they like. They know exactly who will be there at 3, which means they know who both the Browns and Giants are picking.

If I had to guess, it’s:
    1. Browns - Darnold
    2. Giants - Rosen
    3. Jets - Mayfield
