Yep Miami cleaned house not because he’s a bad player. My opinion is based on the fact he is not the same player he was in Detroit. Dude he only had 5 sacks last year

That's about par for the course for him.

    10, 4, 8, 5.5, 8.5, 6, 5, 4.5.

Yeah for sure that’s bortles range, but that whole premise was on him purposely taking less money to allow more money for other players to be brought in. I get it’s not likely.

And those numbers aren’t bad for an interior lineman getting double teamed all day.

I honestly believe this release would've happened regardless of Suh... He never came close to being near the value of his contract.

Now, it may give more freedom to sign a guy like Suh...

Hankins was released today & I really like him as a true NT. If we do not land Suh (Which to me is highly questionable given we do not usually spend much in FA) Hankins would be a nice addition. He is visiting the Redskins tho. We have spent more thus far in this FA period than we have in years already. I am not against signing Suh. I would just be shocked if it happened. I hope it works out & he is a dominant force. I just can't get my hopes up about it.... LOL. It's rare for us to spend like this in FA. One things is for sure... Jrob threw some money around this year. Hopefully it pays off & we have a gret defense. I have one of many on here wanting the team to invest in defense for a while. Glad they finally are doing so!

IDK about this.... If you remember he let his agent handle everything to do w/ his rookie deal; & was nearly not in Camp the 1st year.....

He MAY do this, but I will not be shocked if he also let's his agent handle the contract; and makes what he can.... I won't blame him either TBH...... It's a tough sport w/ multiple injuries every year. He may only get one big contract; at least that's the way he (As a business man) has to look at it.... I really won't be shocked either way. He is the type of guy who will go out of his way to help the team. However, he was also smart enough to let his agent handle the rookie deal... And that one got hung up on just "Off-set Language"..... So we will see. Hopefully he has an amazing season so this will be what we are talking about next off season. How much will he take to sign......

Sure let’s use that logic. I guess Drew Brees, Big Ben, Peyton Manning, and Eli Manning aren’t starting caliber QB’s either.

All of those guys have thrown more picks than TD’s in a season.
